Sit down and STFU, Sarah.

So, Tranny Palin is threatening to sue Random House(lol) and Joe McGinnis for publishing false statements in his book, The Rogue?  Really! Their accusations are based on the "revealing" and mysteriously leaked email between Mr. McGinnis and Gryphen from Immoral Minority. You know, the one where Joe implores Gryphen to help garner empirical evidence to back up some of the more salacious rumors that had been circulating regarding Palin, or else he can't include them in his book? In this email Joe almost scolds Gryph with ,"[Y]ou write frequently that you know things you can’t yet post, but that soon “all will be revealed.” This has been going on since I first became aware of your blog, but as far as I know you haven’t substantiated a single claim or provided verification for a single rumor that you’ve posted about Sarah’s personal life, or the personal lives of any Palin family members. . . .
Neither from you, the Enquirer, AlaskaWTF, palingates.com or anyone else, have I seen a credible, identified source backing any of the salacious stories about the Palin family.
Thus — as Random House lawyers are already pointing out to me — nothing I can cite other than my own reporting rises above the level of tawdry gossip. The proof is always just around the corner, but that’s a corner nobody has been able to turn. . . .. "

Pretty obvious the man was not intending to publish unproven fabrications.

YAWN. NICE try, Tranny and Tawd. Here's a re-post from Phil Munger's Progressive Alaska. He and McGinnis hosted a book salon for Fire Dog Lake last weekend. Here is McGinnis's take on:

"Bottom line: not only my editor, but Random House attorneys verified every source, in some cases speaking directly to the sources themselves. I have dozens of hours of recorded conversations. Random House attorneys listened to them all, then made an independent judgment about the trustworthiness of the sources. No material from an unverified source is included in the book. Many details were omitted for that reason. Obviously, any writer would like to be able to name every source. In this case, the climate of fear the Palins created in and around Wasilla made that impossible. After seeing how Sarah reacted to my moving next door, many people became afraid for their own safety and said they’d talk to me only if I guaranteed confidentiality. When I felt I had to, I did. Anonymous sources have a long and honorable tradition in U.S. journalism. Look at Woodward and Bernstein and “Deep Throat.” Just last week, the NY Times had a story about the Mets third baseman and quoted an anonymous source. In twelve books written over 42 years, I’ve never been through a legal vetting like this one. It lasted for months."

End of story.

There IS no story.

Palin is willing to sit in court as a microscope is fixed on all those nasty little nuggets that the Palin Circle has worked so hard to hide? Yeah?    I think not.

Let's see... who thinks this is another pathetic threat that will disappear into the ether?  Or will we see Sarah cry,"Now I can't run for Prez because of all the lies and untruths and falsehoods and legal hassles, also, too!!!!!!"
